Amelia is a multidisciplinary artist in Sausalito, California. Working primarily in oil paint, pastels, pencil and ink her process begins with a ritualistic morning walk where she examines the intricate and entangled tapestries of form found in nature. Drawing from encountered, foraged and arranged fauna she creates portraits rooted in a tension found in beauty and decay. Amelia’s work reflects her an intention to create space for awe in the repetition of a modern day existence.
